Customers keep reporting that their AFP printing halts or their RPD GUI behaves erratically when Windows free disk space is <10%. The RPD GUI does not help identify the problem.
When printing AFP jobs using RPD, PSF has a threshold for PSF segments. When that threshold is reached, PSF input manager stops working. The default is 90% used space (less than 10% free space) for WIndows and 50% for UNIX. It would be helpful if there was a message logged somewhere that identifies the problem.
Please consider adding a property or system setting similar to what Infoprint Manager has where the customer can change the value of "Percent Usage Threshold" (Infoprint Manager has a setting called "Directories for segments and percent usage threshold" that can be configured).
Or at the very least, please add a message to the AFP Printer log that tells the user they have exceeded their "Percent Usage Threshold". Thank you.
