Automatic software updates

Given that a product is only supported for 2 years, it would be nice if the product could automatically update like other modern software (e.g. browsers, acrobat, office, OSes). There are various levels of support:

1. Product release upgrades

2. Product updates (fixes between releases)

3. Security vulnerabilities.

In each case, the software should notify that an update is ready to allow admins to plan when to install the update.

Updates should work as long as a valid EID is in place.

This would make keeping software up to date easier.

Of the 3, the most pressing would be automatic security patches.
