It would be great to have a sample application that uses the Rest API that the GUI uses

The examples of individual commands that you document in swagger are great but an example that puts some of those commands together to do something meaningful like get the status of all of the printers in the system and display them would help some of us who don't know a lot about web applications to have a starting point.
