Purge child jobs that failed to finish

Sometimes when i run a splitting workflow, the files get hung up and i have to restart the server. The rest of the files split and copy to a folder but they don't register as "completed" so the parent job sits in a waiting status and can't be deleted from the system. Sometimes you can reprocess and get it to a state that you can remove but sometimes you can't. It would be nice if you selected delete and there were child job remnants, that you could purge or process those child jobs so the parent can be deleted.
