To have a quick and easy way to generate a text list containing the RPD version, and the versions of all the installed features.

I work in support, and we often get asked what version a particular RPD system is running, or what version of a feature is installed.

It would save time if there were a single button an admin user could click on in the RPD GUI to generate the list, which could be pasted into an email or a text file to send to support staff.

It would also be useful if there were a command that could be issued on the server commandline to generate the same list, in case the GUI is not available for whatever reason.

But the about -l command does not always show the version info... :-(

We don't document this but you can type about -l (that's a lower case L) on the command line and get a list of EXTENSIONS (not features) installed and their version number.
