Set RPD Locations at a Group level in addition to a User Level

I would like the ability to set a default Allowed locations setting for each RPD group so that when I add a user as a member of that group, their Allowed locations are inherited from the group value. I add new users often using my LDAP groups so I would not have to set up the Allowed locations for the user in RPD as a separate step. We have a regular turnover of staff on the shop floor so this change would help me be sure that most new users get exactly the same Location settings. Then we would only need to manually fix the (much rarer) exceptions.

    Oh and, with a fresh view on this looking back, an alternate solution would be an additional column on the Location definition to allow "Visible By Default". This way you make selective locations "opt out" rather than "opt in" though the latter still makes sense for restricted devices.

    A slight update to this in lieu of a hopefully still "under consideration" fix;

    As a work around, you can set up a supervisor level group with access to users to amend current settings but - by default - not add or delete etc. There isn't a way to limit this to members of a group so it isn't ideal for all environments and still a manual task which the ability to define at a group level would solve.
