Automated loading of printer setups / snapshots

Inkjet printer manufacturers each have an implementation that saves printer setup information on the control unit so that printer operators can quickly restore the imaging engine to the settings used for a prior run of a job. A snapshot on the IP5000 is an example of this setup information.

I would like to be able to specify the name of that snapshot or setup object in the RPD printer definition and have it sent to the printer's control unit in the method appropriate for a job. The scope of this request is true for both AFP and PDF jobs but it would be interesting to know which data stream has the greatest need across the customer set.
